  • Home health is covered 100% by Medicare and most private insurance plans.

    • Yes, our organization is licensed and approved to provide skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medical social worker and home health aides by the California Department of Public Health.

    • We are Medicare certified to provide services to patients with Medicare and Medicaid.

    • We are federally accredited by The Joint Commission and we have received The Gold Seal of Approval. The Gold Seal shows that our organization meets the Joint Commission’s highest standard of care. These standards are created collaboratively with healthcare experts, providers and patients.

  • Yes, ours nurses and rehabilitation therapy team are licensed in California. We thoroughly screen and conduct background checks to confirm that they are qualified for their role. We also provide quarterly trainings to ensure our licensed team skills meet quality national standards.

  • Yes, if your physician is ordering home health services, you can request for OPÓ Health to provide home health care to you or your loved ones at home.

  • Yes, many of our nurses are certified and trained to provide wound care and IV therapy at home. They follow national standards of practice. Our nurses have extensive experience teaching and educating patients and their caregivers how to treat their wounds and or administer medications safely at home.

  • Yes, we offer audio services for patients with limited English through Language Line Solutions.
